  1. Your dog gets daily one-on-one training from an esperienced dog trainer. Whilst you can train your dog yourself, realistically the amount of time and experience you have may not be enough, especially if you are training an energy filled puppy, or trying to correct unwanted behaviours of your dog.  It is also incredibly important for your dog to receive a solid foundation from an experienced dog trainer, this will make future training easier.Board and train facilities are an intense training courses that take your dog in to an organisation with specialist facilities.  Your dog will have its own living quarters, be fed the finest food and will be given the best care by experienced dog trainers and handlers.
  2. Your dog goes to 'school' and comes back a whole new dog. Due to the board and train courses and the fact that your dog has almost constant care, attention and training, new behaviours can be learnt extremely quickly without outside influences and distractions.
  3. Concentration on solving unwanted and problem behaviours. Board and train services are particularly useful if you have specific goals for your dog.  It may be that you have just bought a puppy and require a puppy training course along with potty training, obedience or crate training.  You may have a dog that you want to teach protection skills to, whether for personal protection or family protection.  Board and Train services are excellent for both of these examples as your dog will have an experienced dog trainer interacting with, and teaching your dog on a daily basis.
  4. Teaching new wanted and positive behaviours.
  5. A faster way to train your dog. Many dog owners opt to attend weekly dog training session which can be very good, however there is a difference between attending a course with a number of other owners and dogs where an instructor must share his/her attention, to having a board and train service where your do will have a dedicated dog trainer/handler and will ensure that numerous daily exercises and training are undertaken for the duration of the course.  Board and Train is the private tutoring of the dog world.  Every dog responds differently and at different speeds to training.  The dog trainers can tailor the course to your dog and its abilities.
  6. Dogs get exposed to different environments, people and dogs. A huge benefit to Board and Train facilities is that your dog will be exposed to a much larger variety of sights, smells, people and dogs.  Part of a happy healthy dog is socialisation.  Board and Train facilities will incorporate people and other dogs into the training ensuring that your dog is not only friendly towards others, but to solidify any training with the distractions of other people and dogs.
  7. Perfect if you can't commit the time required for dog training. A big reason for dogs coming in the Board and Train facilities for their dog training is simply because their owners just don’t have the time to commit to daily dog training.  Training is a repetitive process and requires a large number of hours to teaching, training and repeating, repetition is key to dog training, whether it is obedience or protection.  Board and Train facilities offer dedicated dog trainers and handlers for your dog ensuring that not only do they receive the care they require, but they also receive set amounts of time for the dog training.
